Sebastian Studnitzky
STUDNITZKY is a unique musician, whose elegant musical genre-hopping is style-defining and has been honoured with several awards. In addition to being honoured with the ECHO Jazz award, Studnitzky can boast worldwide concert experience as a member of Mezzoforte, Nils Landgren's Funk Unit and Jazzanova. He writes for classical orchestras and teaches as a professor at universities in Berlin and Dresden. With the Berlin XJAZZ Festival, he has also created a format that inspires international enthusiasm. He brings this irrepressible creative power to international clubs and festivals in his band project KY, the orchestra project MEMENTO and also in an impressive solo programme.
