In times of cultural pessimism and indifference, the Allgäu band Rainer von Vielen advocates a renewal of humanity's canon of values. Rainer von Vielen (vocals, programming, accordion), Mitsch Oko (guitar, vocals), Dan le Tard (bass, vocals) and Sebastian Schwab (drums, percussion, vocals) have already travelled as far as Siberia to howl with the wolves in their role as UNSL ambassadors. Rainer von Vielen elevate innovation to an aesthetic principle - US West Coast bass, Gandhi rap, Kingston accordion, Alhambra guitar, Kilimanjaro drums, Himalayan throat singing - the band calls it bastard pop.
