We offer you a comprehensive range of professionally configured looms for use in studios or live rigs, e.g. for wiring up racks. Since no demands as to road readiness are imposed on some looms and not many mating cycles are required from them, we supply 2 or even 3 quality grades: the BASIC quality is assembled with our numbered SC-QUANTUM HIGHFLEX studio or stage multipair and is fitted with the lower-priced, very solid standard connectors from HICON. The PROFESSIONAL quality comes with Neutrik connectors. This version is mainly used in professional studios where the studio techs set great value on a linear transmission and a perfect shielding. The SC-QUANTUM HIGHFLEX complies with the 110 Ω AES/EBU or DMX standard and can therefore not only be used in the analog world, but also in the digital domain. Of some versions we also deliver an additional quality for which we process the probably best audio multipair SC-PEGASUS available on the market. The SC-PEGASUS is wired in crossover mode and supplied with gold-plated XLR connectors from NEUTRIK®. With a wire/wire capacitance of only 35 pF and a triple shielding (Cu spiral screen + foil for each wire pair + overall Cu braided screen) it's the absolute reference in the field of studio technology wiring. Likewise the SC-PEGASUS can be used for analog as well as (with crossover wiring) digital applications. Please note: professional users most often use only 4- or 8-pair looms because multipairs with more than 8 pairs have a considerable weight and can literally “lever out“ the PCB connections of the input sockets on some synthesizers, workstations, mixing desks or other devices.
