DI-BOXEN
are used for adaptation. The DI-box can convert high resistance, unbalanced signals coming from electrical music instrument, such as keyboard, CD-players as well as speaker outputs and adapt to them, producing a low resistance, balanced microphone input on stageboxes or mixing boards.
The passive DI-box covers more than 90 % of all standard applications. We have selected a few high quality DI- and split boxes made by Palmer just for you.
Active DI-box. Battery operation or 48 V-phantom supply possible. Active switching enables a high input impedance of 1 MΩ and increased sensibility for input signals. (Typical difference between in- and output –4 dB). The max. output voltage for the phantom supply is +10 dBu. Output: trafo-balanced. Due to special “floating ground“ switching the ground lift switch also functions with phantom supply.
