Is the new HI-MARLIN XLR connector from HICON. Not only does it look good and lies ergonomically in your hand - due to its special construction, it also solves many problems installation or event technicians are faced with. A lot of new cables in professional audio engineering are gas-injected which is why standard chuck strain reliefs are not ideal. They crush the sensitive wire insulations and thereby affect the electrical values. Here the lamellar seal with inside rubber gasket is the perfect solution. The pressure from the strain relief is evenly distributed over the entire cable diameter and presses no dips into the jacket and insulation material. We paid special attention to the locking mechanism which is very compact and extremely durable. It has no long spring travels and the pressure suspension is located in the locking knob and not – as otherwise usual – in the contact carrier. This ensures a simple, no-frills assembly or cable manufacture. These connectors are faithful companions especially in wet environments such as the installation in amusement parks, in coastal areas, in ship and boat building, at outdoor festivities like Christmas markets, funfairs, skiing events, in sediment technology, etc. The HICON HI-MARLIN XLR connectors are saltwater and UV resistant.
