HICON Banana connector, 1-pol , metal-, screw-type-male connector, gold plated contact(s), straight, black
The electric laboratory spring plugs developed by Hirschmann GmbH in 1926 are regarded as the forerunners of today's banana plugs, which owe their name to the banana-shaped leaf spring tip. The 4 mm version can still be found today in almost all hi-fi speaker connections in the upper quality classes.
The banana plug is gold-plated and has a screw terminal. The housing is made of metal and the plug is suitable for cables with a maximum diameter of 4.2 mm. The colour of the plug is white.
