HICON BNC 3G-SDI crimp-female connector, ground isolated, thread 1/2", red
The BNC connector (Bayonet Neill Concelman) is one of the best-known coaxial connectors and was invented at the end of the 1940s. It is available with 50 or 75 Ω characteristic impedance and is primarily used in radio, video, medical and computer technology. Our connectors comply with the specifications of IEC 169-8, MIL-C-39012.
HICON is one of the few manufacturers to offer not only cable plugs, but also panel jacks in common formats as attenuation-optimised direct crimp versions.
The HDTV 2-pin female BNC panel jack is earth-insulated and fits into a D flange. It is suitable for cables such as SC-Focusline, SC-Altera Split, Transit MC120, Transit MC123 HD, SC-Classic Control and Observer 1.

HI-DET
All HICON products labelled with the SYSBOXX logo can be mounted in the recessed D-flange HI-DET-M (metal version with M3 thread) and thus fit into our modular system box SYSBOXX (see multicore systems). The hole diameter of 12.5 mm accommodates all audio, video, fibre optic and DATA installation connectors with 1/2 ‘ external thread. We recommend our WSW16 assembly tool for this purpose.
The matching colour coding in 11 different colours enables individual identification. HICON also offers an inexpensive D-blank cover, optionally with SOMMER CABLE on the front, HICON logo without logo.The recessed universal plastic D flange offers a 12.5 mm mounting.
