The BNC connector (Bayonet Neill Concelman) is one of the best-known coaxial connectors and was invented at the end of the 1940s. It is available with 50 or 75 Ω characteristic impedance and is primarily used in radio, video, medical and computer technology. Our connectors fulfil the requirements of IEC 169-8, MIL-C-39012.
The BNC59 cable connector is a soldered version with gold-plated contacts. It has a metal housing and is PTFE-insulated, with a maximum cable feed-through of 6.4 mm. The plug is a 2-pin female version and is suitable for cables such as SC-Focusline, SC-Altera-Split, Transit MC120 and SC-Classic Control, as well as for RG59B/U.
