SYSBOXX – The modular box with system

Regardless of what your business is – live events or media technology, the installation sector or A/V broadcasting – the SYSBOXX will fulfill all of your expectations: For example, your customer wants to connect a mixing board, a projector, a DMX-controlled coffee maker (?!), two PCs with flat screens, two mice with cheese and an OB van – all up to one box. Now it is possible, thanks to the SYSBOXX. With the new MKII version you can even manage industrial applications in compliance with DIN 41494.

The compact design...
... of the system is really surprising. You can even fit a 24 in 8 stagebox with round or square multi-pin connectors in an incredibly small 2 U enclosure. The SYSBOXX can be configured as a 19“ system or a floor and wall box with variable width, and the 2 U or 3 U modules can be expanded to a multiple of their height (possible height units: 2 U, 3 U, 4 U, 6 U, 8 U) with the appropriate expansion frame. Standard enclosure depth is 80 mm/3.15" or 140 mm/5.51".

The secret...
... is a stable and compact sandwich design made up of two specially developed, coated SYP-profiles on top and bottom for installation with our SYFB-panels at the front and rear, and SYST-side panels from our extensive selection.

Which plug?
Plug connectors and snakes suitable for the SYSBOXX are identified with our SYSBOXX-logo – you can concoct the most adventurous configurations.

The front panels...
... are made of 2.5 mm/0.1" sheet steel, which is powder-coated on the front only. Due to the strength of the material the panels are practically unbreakable and they are available in empty or fully loaded versions, ready to go making connections. The screws, for the most part self-tapping, are flush countersunk and furnished with a Torx drive. The punchholes for the connectors are almost always threaded, which significantly minimizes the installation time and therefore locknuts are unnecessary.

The inside wiring...
... for the audio connectors are simple 14- or 16-pin ribbon cables (crosstalk attenuation 100 dB – measured on an open input), usually with separate grounding and an additional ground wire for the enclosure. The flat plugs have genuine gold-plated contacts (Protection Class 2) and a lock that ensures safety even during tough stage operation. The receptacles on the circuit boards are clearly identified and numbered.
