DVM-120-PBS Headphones beltpack systemMobile listening pleasure …The DVM-120-PBS is an ideal tethered, purely analogue (zero latency) and powerful personal monitor solution. The central unit provides up to 4 beltpacks with the signal plus the required voltage. It offers a stereo IN and also an auxiliary sub-input, which can be activated individually for each beltpack output. This is often used for command functions in the studio or for the conductor. The beltpack contains the actual headphone amplifier. It features 1 level control, 1 mute switch, 1 balance control as well as the tone control. The beltpack can be switched to either stereo, dual-mono or sub-input operation mode. For dual-mono operation mode only the selector switch on the bodypack is used, while the balance control determines the mix level for the two input signals. For the mix mode plus sub-input both the selector switches on the bodypack and on the central unit are needed. Now the balance control is used to determine the mix level of the combined stereo signal and the sub-input. The power for the central unit is provided by an integrated wide range power supply . When designing the product, we attached great importance to ultra low noise and high amplifier performance in the bodypack. The inputs are electronically balanced, the stereo input can be switched from +4 dBu to –10 dBV nominal level. The connection between thedevices is made by using off-the-shelf microphone cables (max. 50 m).

It stands out by its ultra low distortion and neutral response down to extremely low frequencies. Therefore, the Dual Line Box is perfectly suitable for the electrical isolation of active PA components or high-level line sources.Input signals are fed either via 6.3 mm jack or female XLR sockets. Both channels have separate ground lift switches to disconnect input and output grounds as required. The new single-channel boxes DVM-120-DIS and DVM-120-DISH combine an extremely compact housing with the same electrical features of the well-known dual-channel units DVM-120-DID or DVM-120-DIDH resp. and a very interesting entry-level price.DVM-120-DID Direct Box – the classic!These classic DI boxes have been developed for a simple and reliable adaptation of mid- and high-impedance signal sources to microphone inputs. We use high-quality transformers from Swedish manufacturer LUNDAHL. With 17 dB of attenuation they are particularly suited for applications with very high levels at super low distortions and a neutral behaviour down to very low frequencies. Each channel has two bridged 1/4“ (6.3 mm) jack sockets, the 2-channel version also offers a 1/8“ (3.5 mm) stereo mini jack socket including a switch for multimedia applications. If required, the groundlift push-button will link the input and output earths. High-Z Direct Box – the specialist!With these specialists very demanding signal sources can be adapted to microphone inputs. The ultra-grade special transformers from Swedish manufacturerLUNDAHL with 22 dB or 28 dB of attenuation that we use can handle even very high input levels. And this combined with super low distortions and an absolutely neutral behaviour – even down to sub-low frequencies. These specialists are ideal for the direct connection of old analogue synthesizers or string instruments to mixing consoles or preamps, especially if the instrument has no active electronics of its own.Each channel has two bridged jack sockets, if required the groundlift switch can link the input and output earths. The output signals are present on male XLR connectors. The I/P impedance selector is used to switch between the normal 280 k input impedance and the high 560 k impedance setting.
