HICON RCA, 2-pole , metal-, Soldering-male connector, gold plated contact(s), straight, black
Before buying an RCA/cinch connector, you should look out for high-quality brands, as inferior connectors often have high transition resistances and poor attenuation values, thereby destroying the advantages of a good audio cable.
Quality connectors are characterised by:
- proper gold plating or coating (cheap connectors are only painted)
- a solid pin without interruption by a rivet, pressing etc.
- low contact resistance
The RCA/cinch plug is a 2-pin male connection with a genuine gold-plated solid pin. It has a black metal housing and supports cable diameters from 4.0 to 6.0 mm. Including the anti-kink sleeve, the maximum cable diameter is 5.0 mm.
