HICON Banana connector with toothed clamp, 1-pol , metal-, screw-type-male connector, gold plated contact(s), straight, black

Developed in 1926 by the company Hirschmann GmbH, the are considered to be the forerunners of today's today's banana plugs, which take their name from the banana-shaped leaf spring tip. The 4 mm version is still used today for almost all HiFi loudspeaker connections in the upper quality classes.

The banana plug is gold-plated and has a lamellar clamping contact. The housing is made of metal and the plug is suitable for cables with a maximum diameter of 4.0 mm. The colour of the plug is red. Recommended cables are SC-DUAL BLUE, SC-QUADRA BLUE and SC-ECLIPSE SPQ240 MKII.
