Modern power amplifiers deliver insane output power specs in the smallest possible enclosures and are more and more often equipped with digital AES3 connections. However, AES/EBU signals cannot be split as easily as analog audio signals – a simple parallel wiring of several terminals is not covered by the AES3 standard and will mostly cause problems. But due to their compact enclosure size, modern power amplifiers often have no AES3 outputs for slaving the signal through to other devices. The DVM-194-AES-NS solves just this issue! The two front AES/EBU inputs are split onto three electrically fully isolated and buffered outputs, to save you from worries and losses. The additional built-in 5-port network hub also makes the network control for the amplifiers in the amprack a cakewalk. Gone are the times when you still had to install an extra hub in your amprack and wire it error-prone “on the fly”! This is all nicely packed in an ultra compact DVM-194 slide-in module for the SYSBOXX ... Also the perfect solution for any modern power amp connection panel!
