Barbara Dennerlein
Her CDs have been honoured with awards, several Jazz Awards and the German Record Critics' Prize, her CD ‘Take Off’ (Verve/Universal) even reached number 1 in the jazz charts and was celebrated as the best-selling jazz album. Barbara Dennerlein is one of the few German artists with an international reputation. On her releases and in her concerts, she presents herself as a competent representative of a new generation of jazz musicians and has thus become the protagonist of her instrument, the legendary Hammond B 3.
