| Twisted Pair Transmission As described at the start, the transmission length for video signals is restricted for physical reasons. Especially when we want to transmit a noise free image, we have to use a different transmission medium to send the signal. That is what the following twisted pair tracks are for. Transmissions of up to 800 m require a simple twisted-pair UTP-cable. CAUTION: Shielded twisted pair cables will reduce the reach! (TP = Shielded twisted pair, UTP = Non-shielded twisted pair) |
