DI BOXES
are used for adaptation. The unbalanced high-resistance signals coming from electrical musical instruments, such as keyboards, CD players, and speaker outputs are converted to match the microphone inputs on stageboxes or mixing boards, they are balanced and low-resistance.
The passive DI box satisfies more than 90 % of all standard applications.
