A mental exercise:
Our mixing board has 4 auxiliary send-outputs, but we have 6 effect units and also need 2 additional monitor connections. What is the easiest way to accomplish this?
Solution:
We use a GHIELMETTI - Cross Track!
The input level is simply rotated by 90° in reference to the output level, i.e. the inputs are horizontal, the outputs vertical. And only the interface that is plugged is activated. So the effects can be reconfigured in no time! As long as we only activate one input per output. More will not be possible, because a patch field is not a mixing board!
(All 4 inputs can be connected to one output - with a connection plug.)
