SC-STRATOS Series HI-CM09
Honesty pays off. This becomes clear when you take a closer look at some HiFi cables after a few years. Even on a phono cable costing 200 EUR the jacket will get porous, the insulation will shrink, and the copper will oxidize. No wonder, because most cables are exposed to enormous heat and aggressive fumes coming from constant exposure to "boiling transformers". These often start their attack on the phono cables after a short period of time and will change the technical and electrical values in the process.Not so for the SC-STRATOS: It does not only adapt to the conditions surrounding high end HiFi-systems electrically, but also in the way of sound. The SC-STRATOS sounds incredibly natural, airy, unobtrusive, and offers complete silence during musical pauses. And it is incredibly uncomplicated when it comes to its ability to adapt to audio systems made by different manufacturers.Because of the multiple shielding (braiding + semiconductor) the SC-STRATOS is perfectly protected against EMI-interference. To vent the heat a special plastic fibre was added to the cross-braiding and a durable, heat-resistant jacket material was used. The copper litz has special conductor smoothing factor to increase conductivity. In turn it protects the oxygen-free litz from outside influences and oxidation. The SC-STRATOS was insulated with a microscopically fine PE/PP-mixture with a long life.
We use genuine gold-plated and Teflon-insulated cinch HICON HI-CM09 connectors with a compression technique.
