SC-CLASSIQUE
Like and ironing cable...
but the first impression is deceiving:
To achieve the look and sound of the sixties and seventies, we have slightly modified the SC-CLASSIQUE. The cable is technically and electrically configured the same as it was in those days: A super thick insulation made of PE and a dense, robust shielding made of tin-plated copper braiding is now being used. All of it is protected by a extremely thick jacket made of a though PVC-mix. And the textile braiding in a tweed design makes it very appealing.
Because back then the plug connectors were not of very high quality, we came up with a special idea for this cable: We supply it with NC3MX-SOM and NC3FX-SOM-plug connectors made by NEUTRIK especially for SOMMER CABLE. They guarantee the lowest contact resistance with turned, genuine gold-plated contacts (for the female version as well!).
