The pin contacts are made of hard gold-plated brass, the socket contacts of hard gold-plated beryllium bronze and an alloy coating that is resistant to corrosion.
The DAMAR & HAGEN plug connector series BNC/DS is suitable for serial digital video transmission (SDI), and the BNC/HD for HDTV-applications. They have repeatedly stood up to testing conducted by independent institutes that resulted in “reference values“. These plug connectors are compatible with all common BNC-connectors available on the market.

BNC 50 Ohm
The high frequency plug connector 50 Ohm technology for flexible coax-cables with an outer diameter of 2 - 11 mm can be used in systems and units for broadcasting and measuring technology at frequency ranges of up to 4GHz.
These connectors with bayonet closure are small, light, and resistant to dampness.
