will not harm this cable. The SPYRO FLEX is perfectly suitable as a power connection for household units, audio components, office equipment, and other technical equipment. It has fine wires in compliance with DIN VDE 0295 Class 5, IEC228. It was produced at an optimum lay length so that the memory effect feared in power cables can be avoided. For years we have been producing this cable for the use in power strips, where it enjoys great popularity.We manufacture the SPYRO FLEX cable ourself and this distinguishes it from the more reasonably priced import goods in many ways: It is extremely round, perfectly centered, and has high quality copper, which permits thousands of bending cycles.
The SPYRO HIGHFLEX in it`s orange jacket is highly flexible and constructed of a fine 0.15 mm² litz (instead of 0.25 mm²).
Please note: Because we also produce this cable for wholesalers of electrical equipment and OEM customers, it is usually only available with the DIN-imprint or other approbation, i.e. without the SOMMER CABLE logo.
