The SC-ASTRAL-LLX has a patented construction of carbon shielding around ground wire and insulation, as well as a protective polyester foil underneath the outer PVC-jacket. This avoids material fatigue and ensures consistent damping values for decades to come.
Traditional SAT-cables usually already loose their good damping during installation or manufacturing. Here the formerly round foam-PE insulation will deform into an ellipse and the solid conductor already looses its centering after slight bending.
Both carbon shields on the SC-ASTRAL-LLX support the solid conductor and the foam-PE insulation. Thus the cable will retain its round shape and electrical values even after installation. With this construction we are also able to achieve the lowest damping values and a shielding value of 120 dB! The SC-ASTRAL-LLX thus even fulfills SDI/HDTV standard and is excellently suited for long installation distances in large SAT-receiving areas.
