Our SC-ALTERA SPLIT also has three 75 Ohm video wires next to one another. Thus we developed a video component cable especially for higher demands.
Video component cables are mostly manufactured with cinch connectors and intended for the connection of signal sources (DVD-players, Dolby digital systems) and monitors (video beamer, flatscreen TV, or similar). The cable can be split easily. This is very practical when you would like to determine splice length yourself. We selected the individual wire diameter so that the cinch connector has perfect „grip“. The wires are color-coded according to common RGB-assignment:
Y = green
U [Cb/Pb] = red
V [Cr/Pr] = blue

This cable is suitable for analog and digital applications and is available premade as well.
