but in this case an exception just has to be made. We supply a robust and yet very flexible control cable, which is used as a signal cable for the milliampere range on control units (e.g. RS232 and RS422) and computer systems. This special jacket is self-extinguishing and flameretardant in compliance with VDE 0472, Part 804, Test Type B.
The CONTROL FLEX is rounded off with shielding made of copper braiding (opt. cover > 90 %). This makes it especially suitable for EMCproblem applications. Please note: as we also produce this cable for wholesalers of electrical equipment and OEM customers, it is usually only available with the DIN-imprint or other approbation, i.e. without the SOMMER CABLE logo.
